Instagram on the web has been updated, and what a difference whitespace makes to the overall experience.
Through the liberal use of whitespace, the entire feel is now more breathable and less-confined. Eyes travel to individual photos, taking time to observe the pictures. Previously, the more tightly-fitted alignment would encourage me to glance through photos together, stopping only for really impressive ones.
Now, it feels like time has taken on a slower path.
