There are some hilarious spoof so funny that you can’t help but chuckle. After the rollout of massive billboard campaign worldwide, featuring pictures taken by an iPhone 6, it has inspire and convince many people that the phone camera is pretty fantastic and awesome enough to take some really good shots.
But truth be told, not everyone can take pictures like those selected by Apple. Many of us use the iPhone to take pictures of our everyday lives – shots that wouldn’t matter to everybody else except ourselves. But it’s the mundane shots that best reflect how the iPhone has intergrate itself into our lives – it’s there, with us, everywhere. We use it for almost everything, from trivial to interesting shots.
Apple has long been scoffed by its critics for just about everything, and spoofed for its communication touchpoints – be it an introduction to a new product or an outdoor advertisement. I actually find the humour in all of them, and the latest one mocks at the “Shot on iPhone 6” marketing campaign.
The person behind this said:
Our thought was that people don’t always take pretty pictures on their phones, so we thought it would be funny to show the other, non-beautiful, photos people take. We both work as creatives in advertising and love to poke fun of our industry whenever it takes itself seriously.
6 pictures pasted near the original Apple ads on the San Francisco streets. They all taken down now, but you can still enjoy the pictures online.
