It’s a cloudy Friday morning. Today is a reprieve from the scotching heat that has enveloped the island for the past month.
Gentle breeze brushed my face. Cars strolled by. Birds chirping gracefully. Everything has an unhurried nature to their actions.
I’m sitting at my study table, looking out of the window. Rows of trees with unpruned leaves. The overgrown grass are like messy hair. But nature will always be better without human intervention.
It has been a relatively calm week. I’m slowly adjusting to working from home. It’s nice waking later than usual, with my son greeting me good morning with a radiant smile.
I find having 3 meals together as a family at home everyday is great. And after knocking off at 6pm, I’m back with them in 5 seconds.
