VISA: It’s everywhere you want to be

With the World Cup fully on the way, I’m still coming to terms with Holland’s comprehensive demolition of Spain.

Lining up around the perimeter of the pitch are sponsorship boards, in which companies pay exorbitant amount of money to get their brands exposed to billions of viewers. Some got more than they paid for though – like VISA.

VISA really gets you places. An incidental capture at the precise moment turned out to be a brilliant endorsement. Subtle product placement can be powerful, and you can be sure that this picture will be shown over and over again, in Dutch’s folklore especially.
